Basmati Rice, Roti and or Flatbread are sides to go along with the Blistered Tomato Daal. Choose whichever you prefer, or skip entirely.
Short Pasta includes shapes like rigatoni, penne, or fusilli that can typically be eaten in 1-2 bites.
Urad daal (black gram) is a protein-rich lentil often used in Indian cooking. It adds a creamy texture when cooked; if unavailable, substitute with split mung beans or red lentils.
